Why Premier

Many physicians choose to work in Correctional Medicine because of the genuine desire to serve less fortunate people. The majority of incarcerated individuals will eventually return to their homes and communities; if we can improve the health of any individual inmate, we can have a positive impact on the public health of his or her community.

We are here to serve you by:

  • Reducing your off–site medical transports
  • Minimizing security risk
  • Freeing up manpower
  • Reducing costs
  • Reducing disease exposure risk to officers

We respond quickly to operational questions/concerns and inmate health care requirements. A designated administrative staff member will be assigned to your contract and will remain available to handle all of your contract needs. Our employees work as a team with your corrections staff. Health care tasks are scheduled around court dockets, meal times, and visitation hours whenever possible. Officer staging is always considered whenever an off-site medical appointment is necessary.
