Premier Education

As part of our continuing efforts to offer training and educational programs to Premier physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practictioners, we offer various courses at our corporate office in Dayton, OH; at Ohio ACEP in Columbus, OH; at Wright State University in Dayton, OH; and at our bi-annual shareholders' meetings. We also offer courses for nurses and EMS.

The mission of Premier’s Education Department is to provide quality educational activities that enhance the consistency of our clinical practice in order to promote quality care throughout the corporation.

Premier directs educational efforts toward risk management, clinical competency, and clinical procedures. Through these activities we strive to maintain excellent customer service and enhance performance improvement.

We employ traditional and innovative educational methods in order to address the needs of our employees and health care providers. Premier continues to be the leader in the provision and delivery of outstanding education to our clients and our employees.

Joan Kolodzik, MS, MD, FACEP ImageJoan Kolodzik, MS, MD, FACEP is the Director of Education & EMS for Premier. Clinically, Dr. Kolodzik works as an attending physician in the Emergency Department of Upper Valley Medical Center. She has also served as Past President of The Ohio Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and she is active as an Associate Clinical Professor for the Wright State University School of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine, as well as a Clinical Faculty member at Ohio State University School of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine.
