Premier Health Care Services Announces New Director of Hospitalist Services
November 29, 2007 – Premier Health Care Services, Inc. announces Steve Babienco as Director of Hospitalist Services.
Premier would like to officially introduce Steve Babienco in his new role as Director, Hospitalist Services. Steve assumed this position in November 2007, replacing Derek Theodor. Steve has worked for Premier since October, 2004 assisting Dave Chauvin, DO as the Director of Physician Compliance.
When asked what he feels his greatest accomplishment in that role was, Steve noted that being able to collaborate with Information Technology and MBI billing staff to refine a web-enabled Physician Statistics suite. “It has been especially meaningful to see significant improvements in the overall metrics of the organization as a whole, but even more rewarding to see those physicians who identified an area of opportunity and dedicated themselves to improve their documentation—while having a tangible way to measure their improvements.
Steve and his wife, Lynell, have been married 23 years and have three children ages 20, 16, and 9. His oldest son, Ryan, is a sophomore pre-med student who aspires to purse a career in Emergency Medicine!
