Premier Promotions at Mercy Fairfield Hospital

We are pleased to announce a new leadership team at Mercy Fairfield Hospital.

Jim Horn ImageJames Horn, MD, FACEP – Medical Director – Dr. Horn joined Premier in 2003 and brings over 6 years of Emergency Medicine experience. Dr. Horn joined Premier after finishing his Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Cincinnati. In addition to his clinical duties at Mercy Fairfield he is currently Premier’s Reimbursement Assistant. In his new position, Dr. Horn will be responsible for the overall quality of medical care within the department. He will be working closely with hospital administration to execute the strategy and policy of the organization and provide direction, oversight, and operational guidance.

Michael Fain, MD, FACEP – Associate Medical Director – Dr. Fain’s previous position was Assistant Medical Director at Mercy Fairfield Hospital. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Cincinnati and joined Premier in 1997. He brings over 15 years of experience as an emergency physician in the Mercy system and was previously Medical Director at Hamilton Mercy. In his new role, Dr. Fain will provide guidance and oversight of the department’s ED operations with a focus on medical staff relations and patient complaint management.

Greg Hall ImageGregory Hall, MD, FACEP – Assistant Medical Director – Dr. Hall brings over 6 years of Emergency Medicine experience. He joined Premier in 2003 after finishing the emergency program at the University of Cincinnati. In addition to his clinical duties at Fairfield, he is currently Premier’s Associate Director of Risk Management. In addition to his risk management role, Dr. Hall will assist with the overall quality of care and patient satisfaction in the Emergency Department.
